Pregnancy Preparation

Healthy parents produce healthy babies! Although three months is the minimum amount of time required to promote a positive change in reproductive organs to nourish an egg and establish a healthy uterine environment. AIM Health’s “Pregnancy Preparation Package”; assists parents with preparing the body and womb to support new life. We recommend that both partners come in for the initial consultation.

Option I - 1 Visit per Week for 3 Months

The option is to ideal for preparing a women’s body for conception. Also ideal for women coming off birth control, suffering from mildly irregular cycles, or without a diagnosis related to infertility. Alternatively, this option can be utilized by males to decrease infertility.

Option II - 2 Visit per Week for 3 Months

The option is to ideal women or men over the age of 35 years old who have experienced periods of absence, or those who suffer from PCOS, endometriosis, or are poor responders.

IVF Support

2 Visit per Week for 8 Weeks

AIM Health was found on the principles of pairing Eastern and Western Medical philosophies and techniques. Our team is experienced in implementing acupuncture in conjunction with western fertility treatments such as in-vitro fertilization. We recommend acupuncture twice a week for at least 8 weeks during an IVF cycle. Acupuncture can enhance blood flow to the uterus and ovaries which can aid in improving egg quality, endometrium thickness, and hormone balance. Acupuncture is an effective method to calm nerves and reduce stress which can support pregnancy outcomes.

Healthy Pregnancy Support

Our option is ideal first trimester mothers; birthing preparation and labor support. 

 

Part I - 2 visits per week for 4 months

Nausea, morning sickness, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, and headaches are common symptoms for first trimesters. Luckily, these symptoms can be treated through acupuncture and supplemental remedies. 

 

Part II - 1 visits per week for 2 months

Birth preparation and labor support treatments are a series of 8 treatments and should be scheduled between 33-40 weeks of pregnancy. Women who consistently receive acupuncture during their pregnancy and especially in the third trimester have labors that naturally begin on time! In addition to reducing swelling, aiding lower back pain, and relieving carpal tunnel, these treatments help prevent medical induction and complications that occur alongside induction. Pre-birth acupuncture treatments can reduce average labor time, decrease the need for intervention, and give you more restful sleep in preparation for the journey.

Nourish & Relieve Package

12 Visits used within 1 Year

After birth, parents’ lives are changed, and may new parents forget about themselves. Postpartum is a time to rest and heal after the incredible journey of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Your body has spent roughly 9 months growing new tissue, then birthing a life force. This package ensures that you set time aside to recover and provide you the energy to take care of your new baby. We recommend more frequent visits during the first forty days.
